How your due dates are generated

Once an asset’s class, agent type, and manufacture date are set, GaugeRoute generates its schedule: the annual external maintenance for extinguishers (NFPA 10), the internal exam and hydrostatic test keyed to the agent and the manufacture date, the semi-annual service for kitchen suppression (NFPA 96 / UL-300), and the annual function test for emergency and exit lighting (NFPA 101).

Different agents run on different intervals, so the schedule keys each asset to its own agent type rather than one blanket rule. The numbers are editable data, not a verdict GaugeRoute hands down.

Cadences vary by jurisdiction — always verify the schedule against your AHJ and the edition they enforce. Where your authority differs, set the date yourself and it wins.
